The administrative procedures for the transfer of line management to local authorities have been delayed due to COVID-19 related confinement. We are therefore unable to give you a date for resumption of traffic from Carnoules, Brignoles and Ste-Anastasie. However, we hope to be able to find you on board our trains before the end of the summer.
In the meantime, you can register for our long journeys in the Hautes Alpes, the Cévennes or the Roya valley.

The line from Veynes to Briançon was opened to traffic between 1875 and 1884. On this mountain line, which runs alongside the Serre-Ponçon lake, travelers can view the spectacular landscapes of the Southern Alps.
A refreshment bar will be available to quench your thirst. To eat, you can bring your picnic. But you can also buy our "railwayman's basket" at the same time as your ticket (no sale on board).

The Alps route
From Veynes to Grenoble, the railway runs through the Dauphiné region, allowing you to discover spectacular mountain landscapes, including the famous Mont Aiguille.
The South Alpine line
Modernised between 2007 and 2013, this line links Grenoble and Valence. It allows you to view the Vercors massif from the southern side.
Branch from Livron to Aspres
Open to traffic in 1894, this branch line goes up the Drôme valley to the Col de Cabres tunnel. It also passes over a viaduct to cross the river in front of the Claps landslides.

The vintage Cévénol train
From Marseille-Blancarde, take a historic railcar to discover a legendary line of the Massif Central.
The Cévennes line required the construction of a succession of engineering structures. it is one of the most beautiful railway lines in France.
In 1955, a train called Le Cévenol was created between Vichy and Nîmes and extended to Marseille to develop tourism on the Cévennes line. Insured at the outset by X 2400 railcars, it was quickly insured by the famous X 4200 panoramic railcars, then replaced in 1979 by a towed train made up of Corail cars.
